Dear Sierra Lakes Elementary Parents and Scholars,

It is with great excitement and heartfelt enthusiasm that I introduce myself as Dr. Rita B. Bayne, proud to serve as your new principal at Sierra Lakes Elementary School! I am thrilled to join a dynamic and energetic staff dedicated to fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and a strong sense of community.

As we dive into a sharktastic school year, I want to emphasize my commitment to an open-door policy. Whether you have questions, ideas, or simply want to connect, my door is always open. I believe that strong partnerships between home and school are the foundation of student success, and I look forward to building those relationships with each of you.

To ensure a smooth and successful year, I encourage all parents and scholars to take time to thoroughly read the Parent-Student Handbook. It contains important information about school policies, expectations, and resources. In addition, we will continue to uphold our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) framework, which promotes safety, honesty, accountability, respect, kind, and safe behavior throughout our campus.

Together, we will create a vibrant learning environment where every scholar feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best. I am honored to be part of the Sierra Lakes family and can't wait to celebrate the many achievements ahead.
